Our
chalet "Edelweiss" is located in the French Alps
on one of the highest green plateau in Europe. It is about
25 minutes from the Maurienne motorway and only 10 miles away
from the town of Saint Jean de Maurienne. It is also linked
to the high speed train (TGV) which travels to Paris in 3h45.
The Edelweiss is in a great location; it faces south in the
heart of the "Belledone mountains" and the famous "Arves Needles"reach
an altitude of 3510 meters. Our chalet lies at
an altitude
of 1690 m, sitting on the ski slopes within the resort of
La
Toussuire. The first ski-lift is only 50 m away and
there is also a large playground at our customers' disposal.

Our ski resort is in the heart of the
"Sybelles domain" which gives you
access to the fourth biggest French skiing area. Its
105 slopes strech from 1100 m up to 2620 m |
Our centre Edelweiss is recognised by the
French National
Sports and Youth Board and we are members of the
French
Holiday Centres Association (UFCV - Union française des centres
de vacances).
Our Chalet holds up to 119 guests. Inside, you will find 5
reception rooms, one heated and ventilated ski room, 2 large
dining rooms and 35 bedrooms all equiped with washing facilities.
Half of the bedrooms are en-suite with showers and toilets.
Otherwise, additional showers and toilets facilities can be
found on each floor.
For the past 50 years our family has welcomed groups, school
trips, company staff or individuals in this beautiful location
to stay for just a weekend, or even longer within this warm
and friendly environment.
The historical area of Maurienne is perfect for following
leisure pursuits, relaxing and enjoying the gastronomic delights
of the region.
We offer trips to groups and school classes in half-day or
all-day outings throughout local villages and places where
you can experience the French Alps at its best. .
